Lear House

Lear House opened in 1963 and is a residential care Home

Please note that Lear House is NOT a nursing home.

The house has 3 bathrooms, a hairdressing salon, a large lounge and dining room and 2 smaller lounges, one on each floor.

Our residents have access to the internet and find this especially useful for keeping in touch with friends and family via e-mail.

The staff are happy to assist with this facility.

Lear House is situated just outside the centre of the village of West Kirby, on the south coast of the Wirral Peninsula.

We are very close to bus and rail services, a good variety of shops and cafes and also close to a magnificent coast line with a very good promenade.

Life at Lear House

Lear House is managed by our registered care manager ensuring the smooth operation of the home for the wellbeing of our residents.

She is also responsible for organising the 26-strong care staff who are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, as well as the kitchen and domestic staff.

We have 24 rooms on two floors, the upper floor is serviced by a lift.

Each room is large enough to fit some of the residents’ own furniture, giving a sense of home.

Each room has its own en-suite bathroom.
